Booktube-A-Thon 2017 TBR!

Hello everyone! Can you believe it? I’m actually going to participate in a readathon? I don’t think I’ve ever properly completed a readathon before BECAUSE I’M ALWAYS BUSY.

1. Read a book with a person on the cover.

For this one I’m going to go with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! I’m not going to even attempt to finish this one because I know I won’t be able to, but I really do want to get a good chunk finished for the day!

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

Hello everyone! How many months has it been…LIKE FIVE? HOLY SMOKES. And the bad thing is that I literally have zero excuse other than the fact that I just haven’t been reading books that made me FEEL the feels. You know what I’m talking about…the feels that make you so passionate about a book whether its GOOD or BAD.

I mean there was definitely a few that did, like (ACOWAR, Crystal Storm…) BUT I actually had shit to do like study for exams and stuff. Any who enough with this long intro, lets just get into this book.

Title: When Dimple met Rishi
Author: Sandhya Menon
My Rating: 3 STARS
Review:
I honestly don’t know what to rate this book. I enjoyed it enough to want to give it at least 3 and a half stars, but as I was reading it, there were so many things about the book that I didn’t like which contradicted the reading experience. IDK if that makes sense….but my reading experience differs a lot from my feelings about the plot, storyline, characters etc…

With just the overall reading experience, which is based on how much I enjoyed JUST PLAINLY reading the book, I would give the book 3 and a half stars.

But after finishing the book (and while reading it too tbh) I realized there were a lot of things that I didn’t like. I would brush it off when I was reading the book since I was trying not to let little things bother me, but I obviously went back because then I wouldn’t be giving an honest review.
