Hello! I’m here with another book haul, but this time it’s not as big as the last one I posted two months ago lol.

ALSO, I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 200 FOLLOWERS! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it on the corner of my page…I completely flipped out! Thank you so much! I’ve interacted with so many amazing bloggers and it’s awesome to properly interact with people who share the same reading tastes as you! I’m so grateful for all the wonderful people I’ve met in the blogging community!

So this book haul is definitely stretching my memory a little bit, since I’m not the best at keeping track of the books I bought, so I’ll try my best! (fingers crossed I don’t miss any!)

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

Believe it or not, I actually won this book from a giveaway on Twitter! I was so shocked (since this was literally the first time I’ve won a giveaway) + I was super excited that it was this specific book!

I literally have not yet heard ONE negative review about this and I hope it stays that way! It’s almost like I’m saving it because I know I’m going to love it!

The next two books are sequels to the very cherished books I read last year…

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton (2)

SO, there’s actually a stupid story to go with why I have two copies of Hero at the Fall, and it’s really vain. For some reason for the Rebel of the Sands trilogy, I HAVE A DIFFERENT EDITION FOR EACH BOOK. Granted, there’s only three books in the series, but still.

Knowing this, I thought it would be whatever to buy another different edition for the final book (Hero at the Fall) from BookDepository because the cover for that one is stunning….and when I finally got it…I realized the book is TINY. LIKE SERIOUSLY TINY. Not in the amount of pages, (It’s still 400+ pages I believe), but the book itself is so compact and small, that it irritated the hell out of me.

Like I tried reading it, but I could just feel the spine breaking and it felt so uncomfortable to read that I had to stop because this is one of my favorite series of all time and I know how unreasonably picky I am, so I had to pick up the US edition…which I had to wait a month for to come out.

It’s literally the dumbest reason to buy another book, and the other edition is honestly perfectly fine to read, (like in the picture it looks almost the same size as the US one) I’m just an irrational human being (!!!!) BUT, at least I can still display that beautiful cover!

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Another weird story, but TECHNICALLY DoSaB shouldn’t be included in this list since I actually owned it for like 5 years…and found it last month.

Not even lying, I had no clue that I had this book in my possession. It was waaaay before I started my bookstagram account and it was probably during the time I first started to get into YA. But honestly I have no idea how I have it, I just randomly found it in one of my boxes downstairs AND WAS SO SHOCKED.

I over exaggerated a teeeeny bit too much when I was telling my sister BUT STILL how cool is it to randomly find a book that you were legitimately going to buy within the next couple of weeks?

Scythe by Neal Shusterman
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

These two I bought from BookOutlet, and I’ve already read (and loved) Scythe! Definitely planning to finally read City of Heavenly Fire, but I kinda want to wait until the release date of Queen of Air and Darkness is a bit closer, so I can binge read the remaining books? Or should I just go at it and read CoHF now? Thoughts?

Those are all the books I bought from the last time I made a book haul, and I don’t think I did too bad, especially given the fact that I’m actively reading these and not letting them build up on my shelf unread. 😂

Let me know what books you’ve recently bought/borrowed/received! Or what your thoughts were on any of the books I mentioned!

Thanks for reading!
