Hello everyone! Apologies again for not being active! 8 more days of studying for finals and I’m finally free! I honestly cannot wait for my summer to begin, and can you believe it…I haven’t read one book in June 🙈 It’s been a crazy month.

I thought it would be fun to do the Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag since I’m halfway through my reading goal of 40 books, so it’s a perfect spot to reflect back on the books I have read so far this year!

1.The best book you’ve read so far in 2018

Hands down Circe by Madeline Miller! I’m constantly raving about this book and it’s a story that will stick with me for a very long time!

2. The best sequel you’ve read so far in 2018

Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton! Even though it was a reread for me this year, I still had a blast reading it! I knew all the twists and surprises, but it was still nice to reread a favorite book from last year!

3. A new release you haven’t read yet but really want to

To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo! I’ve just been hearing rave reviews about this one and I’m really interested to see what the hype is all about!

4. Most anticipated releases for the second half of the year

5/6. Your biggest surprise/A book that made you happy

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne! It’s probably the most fun I’ve had reading a book in a really long time! It was the perfect fluffy read! I wish I could read it for the first time again.

7. Favorite new author

A Gathering of Shadows Final 6187iagi2bl-_sx323_bo1204203200_

This probably has to go to either Alwyn Hamilton or V.E. Schwab! I’ve only read one of Victoria’s books, but I already love her writing style! As for Alwyn Hamiltons books, I can’t wait to read any books she releases in the future!

8. New fictional crush

This has to go to Prince Cardan from The Cruel Prince. I just see so much potential in him for future books!

9/10. New favorite character/A book that made you cry

Can I mention Circe again…? Her character development throughout that book is phenomenal! The arc of her character is so satisfying and amazing to read about! Plus I couldn’t help but tear up quite a bit at some parts, whether they were happy or sad.

11. Favorite post you’ve written this year

Probably one of my book hauls! I always have a great time taking pictures for them + compiling the list!

12. What books do you need to read by the end of the year

AND a lot more.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this! I promise I’ll have more reviews and better content out next week! Wish me luck on my finals!
