Hello everyone! It’s been a few months since my last book haul, and I’ve accumulated a few more books since then! Surprisingly, I’ve actually been reading these! With every book I buy, I’m becoming more accustomed to reading them straight away rather than letting them sit on my shelf forever.
I’ve been lucky enough to receive two advanced reader copies in the mail in the recent months, and I cannot be more excited for both of them! Expect to see some reviews for them closer to their release date! 😉
Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson
Unfortunately I couldn’t really get on the bandwagon for Kiss of Deception because I got spoiled for the whole mystery aspect of the book. The spoiler really ruined my whole reading experience, but I cannot wait to read Mary’s newest series, which is based in the same amazing world as The Kiss of Deception! The book is coming out August 7th!
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
This is probably the book I’m most excited to read out of this whole haul! This book follows a group of girls who are chosen to serve the king—which is deemed to be the highest honor. Every year eight girls are chosen, but this year there are 9, a girl who has a unique fire ability. This book sounds loads of fun and I hear there is a ton of action. Plus there’s an amazing romance between two of the girls! The book comes out November 6th!
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
I don’t think I’ll be picking this one up anytime soon, especially since I’m not really that interested in it anymore, but who knows? It’s super short!
My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, Jodi Meadows
To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
Fireblood by Elly Blake
I recently just got these three in the mail, and I can’t wait to dive into them all! They sound like such fun reads, but I think I’ll be picking up TKAK first since I’m most excited for that one.
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
My current read that I’m absolutely OBSESSED WITH! I will have all my thoughts and feels in my review which will be coming out soon as I only have the last chunk of the book left!
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab
I’ve actually already started reading ADSOM (I’m at page 130) but I had to put it down because my reading slump made me not enjoy it as much. It was taking me awhile to get through it, and I need to be in the mood to read a book like this! Hopefully I’ll pick it up again really soon!
That’s all I have for my book haul, not an alarming amount of books but I still wanted to discuss them a bit!
Thanks for reading!
