Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last post….not even going to lie, I feel like I forgot how to write these! But over the past few weeks, I’ve really had to prioritize school over all my other hobbies since it was starting to get insanely stressful!
But I’m back for now, thankfully things have calmed down a bit so I’ll definitely be pre-writing some posts in my drafts in case this happens again!
Unfortunately I barely got a chance to read in September….school really sucks, but I’m hoping to squeeze a few during the Thanksgiving break!
Now onto the TBR!
MY FAVORITE HALF-NIGHT STAND BY CHRISTINA LAUREN
Fun fact, the only book that I did manage to read in September was written by Christina Lauren, which was Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating! It was such a cute and adorable read that I kinda fell down a spree of adding every Christina Lauren book to my shopping cart…and I somehow managed to get an e-arc of one of her upcoming books! From the snippets I’ve read so far, two words…ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE.
MUSE OF NIGHTMARES BY LAINI TAYLOR
I think it’s safe to say that I always mention Strange the Dreamer in every tagged post that I do, and here it is again! The first book is so poetic and beautiful that I have no doubt the conclusion will be just as amazing, if not even better! This is one of those books that I recommend just diving into without too much knowledge, it’s a guaranteed hit!
LADY MIDNIGHT BY CASSANDRA CLARE
The months are going by so fast and the release date of Queen of Air and Darkness is creeping up on us so quickly! Which inevitably means I need to catch up on this series now, to avoid major spoilers that I’m bound to come across! I’m actually so excited to start reading this book, especially because we’re being introduced to a new group of people and I was getting a teeeeensy bit bored of the TMI cast of characters…. (no hate here please!)
THE LOST SISTERS BY HOLLY BLACK
Out of this whole TBR, this is the one book (novella) that I am 100% guaranteed to read…mainly because it’s only 50 pages long. This novella follows the perspective of Jude’s sister Taryn (I know, ew) but even though I am clearly not a fan of Taryn whatsoever, I’ll take any Holly Black content to try and lessen the MONTHS of waiting for The Wicked King!
Once again, not a whole lot on my TBR this month, but I will strive to read at least a couple of these to catch up on my goodreads goal!
Let me know what books you are planning to read in October, are they the same as mine?
Thanks for reading
