Hello everyone! I decided to show you guys the twelve books that I bought in the months of December and January, since it’s DEFINITELY a lot more than I usually buy.

I had all my final exams this month (January), and after my last exam I spent waaaay too much money buying books because I honestly deserved it after all that stress. 😂

After reading and loving The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner, I went ahead and bought the other three books in the series…

They include:
The Queen of Attolia
The King of Attolia
A Conspiracy of Kings

I really recommend this series if you guys are looking for fantasy books that have a very different feel to them! It feels a lot different compared to the current YA fantasy books out there!

AND, a couple days after that, I splurged at Indigo, buying four books with some of my Christmas money!

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
Everless by Sara Holland
The Song of Achilles by Madelline Miller
Red Rising by Pierce Brown
Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

I’m actually SO proud of myself, because instead of putting these books aside for later, I’m actually reading them! (Which also means all my other books on my shelves are being neglected, but let’s not dwell on that).

I originally read The Song of Achilles on my kindle, BUT FINALLY bought the actual physical copy of it, and I couldn’t be happier! (I’m honestly going to try and collect all editions of that beautiful book).

Plus the books that I bought off of Amazon after my last exam…

The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon
(which I literally couldn’t find ANYWHERE)
Blood and Sand by C.V. Wyk
Immortal Reign by Morgan Rhodes (which will come in Feb)

SO SO SO excited to read all these! I’ve been hearing nothing but good things, and I recommend you go read the synopsis’ on goodreads!

And last, but definitely not least…

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor!

This was another impulse buy, I saw it on my goodreads and I just had to buy it. I actually already finished reading it, and if you’re interested in my thoughts, you can read my review here!

Hope you guys liked this post! I had a blast taking these pictures and incorporating them into this post! + I can use some of them on my bookstagram, which is a bonus for me!
