I’m so thrilled to be tagged to do this, especially by the lovely Winged Cynic! (Highly recommending giving the blog a visit, the reviews and posts are insanely good and written so well!)
Yes, another post and yet another tag! I’ve been reading City of Heavenly Fire and because the book is so massive, (LIKE RIDICULOUSLY HUGE), it’s going to be a little while before I can finish it and get my review up! Hopefully I’ll find some motivation to write reviews on other books I read this month, but until then….😉
- Pick 8 books off your shelves (try to not pick just your favorites!)
- Arrange them into a random order (randomizers are good for this).
- In the order they are arranged, open them to a random page and write down the first name you see. Don’t mix up the names!
- In the last book, find the name of an animal/pet and write it down.
- Put the names in the right category.
- Tag people (spread the love) copy and paste these rules in your post, or write them out yourself.
Parent One: Ezra Mason from Illuminae
This is a weird one. If I recall correctly, I’m pretty sure he’s around the age of 17-18, so pretty much still a kid! I think he’ll be a bit silly and impulsive, but definitely not the worst parent from the pile!
Parent Two: The Sultan from Rebel of the Sands
Now this is pretty hilarious, I got the villain as my parent. Based on this trilogy itself, his intentions aren’t the best (obviously) but at the same time we do see a parental side of him in Traitor to the Throne which surprisingly wasn’t the worst! But would I want him as a parent, not really. He’s very ruthless and will choose the wealth of his palace over anything.
Sibling One: Blue from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
No spoilers here, but I love this one! Blue is the absolute sweetest and I would love to have him for a brother! I definitely think we’d be the best of friends!
Sibling Two: Taryn from The Cruel Prince
No thank you. WOW I cannot believe I got Taryn for this one, ESPECIALLY FOR THE SIBLING QUESTION. 😂 Is there anybody who actually likes her? Someone please take her away from me.
But I would also accept the role as her sibling if it means I can take her off my precious Jude’s hands. 😇
Cousin: Mather from Snow Like Ashes
I don’t know how I feel about this one. Not going to lie, I don’t really feel anything about this book, especially because it felt a little bland to me. But I feel like Mather would be the cousin that I occasionally interacted with, but definitely not on a day to day basis.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: The Seelie Queen from The Mortal Instruments
Huh. This one is a little scary if I’m being honest. I never really saw her as a potential significant other. I feel like she’d devour me whole because I’d be so intimidated by her. Plus isn’t she like immoral or something? We’d have A LOT to talk about. 😂
Best friend: Harry Potter from HARRY POTTER!
My favorite answer so far! HECK YES! Imagine being besties with the boy who lived! Someone should be adding me into the books right now. Imagine being part of all those kick-ass adventures the golden trio went on, it’s too good to be true! I am so here for this!
Pet: Fleetfoot from Throne of Glass
This one was so difficult for me to find! Why isn’t there more animals in YA literature? I like dogs and Fleetfoot seems pretty adorable! ❤️
I had such a fun time doing this tag! I don’t think my family is too weird, considering I’ve seen other posts that are so insane it’s hilarious! And I might be able to accept these guys one day.
Thank you guys so much for reading!
